Dissertation Coaching & Academic Writing Coach in the Netherlands | Topscriptie

A dissertation, also called a doctoral thesis, is a piece of scientific research you write to earn your doctorate. In it, you present original research results that contribute to your academic field. At the end of your PhD track, you defend your dissertation in front of a doctoral committee. Topscriptie offers dissertation coaching for PhD candidates at universities across the Netherlands, guided by coaches who hold a PhD themselves.

Our academic writing coaches can also help you write a scientific article, including in English, for various journals. This is a valuable service for international PhD candidates who need to publish in English but did not necessarily train in it. Students who need to write a scientific article based on their thesis often benefit from this kind of support too. Besides content related dissertation coaching, we also offer support with structure and planning throughout your PhD track.

That is why Topscriptie has several PhD holders on the team who still regularly write scientific articles themselves and have gone through the same process, in the Netherlands and internationally. As academic writing coaches, they help you with reviewing scientific articles and with the publication process. The guidance is fully tailored to your personal needs, ranging from brainstorming the right direction to analyzing data together. Our PhD coaches all have different academic backgrounds, which means we can support a wide range of topics and disciplines well.
