Topscriptie offers study coaching in English and Dutch for students at a university of applied sciences (HBO) and a university (WO). International students, Dutch students and working students can all book coaching. Your coach adapts the sessions to your study, your level and your question, from planning and exam stress to academic writing and your thesis. You can combine online and on location sessions.
A study coaching program at Topscriptie consists of four to six sessions of 45 to 60 minutes. The sessions are spread over a few weeks. In the first session, you set concrete goals. In the next sessions, you practice and apply what you learn. Between sessions, you can reach your coach via WhatsApp or email. After the last session, you evaluate your goals and decide whether you want a follow up.
The intake conversation at Topscriptie is free and without obligation. During the intake, you explain where you get stuck, for example with planning, procrastination, exam stress or your thesis. Together, we map out what you need to regain control of your studies. Based on that conversation, we match you with a study coach who fits your program and situation. You then plan your first session.
Study coaching takes place online, on location or as a combination of both. Online sessions run via Zoom, Teams, WhatsApp, phone and email. On location, you can meet your coach at our office near Rotterdam, in Amsterdam, in Den Bosch, in Zeeland, in Groningen or in The Hague. If you work alongside your studies, our flexible schedule also covers evenings and weekends.
You can bring any study problem to your coach, from planning and procrastination to motivation, concentration, exam stress and fear of failure. Your coach also supports students with ADHD, concentration problems, a chronic illness, autism, mental health conditions or dyslexia. Do you lack overview, or do you receive too little guidance and feedback from your school? Then a study coach can help you structure your studies.
